From the minute we walked through the front door and saw the elegant foyer and the grand piano it was luxury, luxury, luxury. We thought the first night of delicious pre-dinner drinks with Tiff's exquisite oysters in a subtle Thai sauce, followed by a dinner which included melt in your mouth venison accompanied by wonderful local wines and then into bed with the world's finest linen could not be improved upon... how wrong we were! It went on and on and on - a great walk in the mountains with the reward of a light delicious picnic, and then back to the Lodge where our personal masseuse awaited us. Each night Tiff produced a beautiful meal, Steph and Denis produced more splendid local wines, Denis serenaded us on the grand piano and then to bed in that finest linen.
And I haven't even mentioned Tiff's breakfasts - so good they were the only thing that would get me out that bed with that linen. Would we go back? Absolutely!
